Russian Immersion Studio (K-2)
The Russian Immersion Studio is a structured language program for Kindergarten through 2nd grade students designed to build conversational fluency, early literacy skills, and confident language use in Russian. Through guided instruction, interactive activities, and consistent language exposure, students develop vocabulary, comprehension, and expressive communication in a supportive small-group setting.
As students progress, they are introduced to reading and writing in Russian using age-appropriate materials that reinforce phonics, structure, and language patterns. The program combines immersion-based learning with Montessori-inspired methods to support focus, independence, and steady language development.
Bilingual education offers children more than just language skills—it supports overall cognitive and academic development during a critical stage of learning.
In a structured immersion environment like the Russian Immersion Studio, children benefit from:
stronger memory, attention, and listening skills through consistent language processing
improved problem-solving abilities and cognitive flexibility
enhanced literacy development, including stronger understanding of language structure in their primary language
increased confidence in communication and participation in group learning
greater cultural awareness and global perspective from early exposure to another language
improved ability to focus, switch tasks, and process information in different contexts
Because the program uses immersive, Montessori-based methods, children learn Russian naturally through meaningful interaction rather than memorization—supporting both language development and overall academic growth.
Our Russian Language Immersion Program follows the schedule detailed below. Children are encouraged to attend even if they are not from Russian-speaking families, as we begin with basic Russian oral sounds and gradually build skills. The program is conducted in Russian, with language support provided for children who are not yet fluent.
Grades/Age: Kindergarten to 2nd Grade
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30 p.m. – 3:25 p.m.
Cost: $275 per month, with an additional $55 nonrefundable registration fee
